As Liquid Crystal display is popularized not only for PC, but also TV, LCD panel size and production volume increases. For this reason, on lighting inspection process, which is normally conducting visual inspection that is performed by inspector, needs of automation has increased in order to support quantification and mass production.

MJC advance the development of Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) by using CCD camera and bring cell tester "Pixquire" to the market. " Pixquire" can detect various image defects (dot, line, and mura) instead of human eyes and judge OK or NG product. Additionally, the existing line can be automated without signification change by combining Pixquire with the existing cell prober. Currently, several companies are already introducing Pixquire in production line and playing an importance part in improving production efficiency.
