Section 5. What is J-Contacts?

In our J-contacts, we adopt an original rigid-type (integral) contactor, not a pogo pin-type contactor often used in a burn-in socket. This enables us to have the shorter length of the contactor than a conventional one and thus to provide a socket with excellent electric characteristics and in particular high-frequency characteristics. The contactor in our J-contacts also makes smooth rotation movement, which achieves ideal contact, preventing the device and the DUT board from being damaged. We have filed a patent application for this technique in various countries, and the patent has already been granted.
