1970 - 1980

November 1970 Established Towa Electric in Meguro Ward, Tokyo.
Main business: maintenance of synchroscopes, facsimiles, industrial semiconductors and vacuum testers
July 1971 Headquarters moved to Musashino City, Tokyo.
Began R&D on semiconductor measuring and ultra-fine process technique
November 1973 Began production of semiconductor testing systems and precision measuring units
April 1975 Company name changed to Micronics Japan Co., Ltd. (MJC)
March 1976 Developed the probe card
August 1977 Completed the 1st manual prober
